Hotel Picadilly . As with many of the newer hotels this one tries to be more upmarket than it is but it is centrally located and has a reasonable restaurant.

Himachal Tourism properties include the Hotel Rohtang Manaslu, the Hotel Beas and the rather basic Tourist Lodge.

At Naggar, 18 kilometres (I I miles) south of Manali, Himachal Tourism manages the Hotel Castle . Can be booked through HPTDC Manali office.

LAHAUL & SPITI
Since Spiti opened to foreign tourists in 1992 small hotels have been opened in Kaza, Tabo and other villages in the area. Most are very simple and many visitors prefer to camp. There is a HPTDC Tourist Bungalow at Keylong.

SHIMLA
There are any number of hotels, suiting all pockets, in Shimla. Many advertise themselves as ‘honeymoon’ accommodation. The Himachal Tourism Office on the Mall will help find accommodation to suit your taste.
